At AC-bu’s solo exhibition GIFTOOOON, I was solely responsible for the design, engineering, and programming of Automatic Manga Artist, a machine that autonomously generates GIF comics. It continuously produced vertically scrolling works exceeding 30 meters in length, generating and printing new material throughout the exhibition. AC-bu contributed character design, conceptual development, and original comic drawings. The project was also conceptually connected to the dedicated GIF comic app Kindolphin, exploring the possibilities of GIF-based comics across both physical and digital media.
