100 Motion Designers in Japan ’18
An ident created for Japanese Motion Graphic Creators 2018 (映像作家100人), the most authoritative yearbook of video directors that has been published for more than a decade. Starting this year, the project is presented not as a book but as an online platform.

The editor of this yearbook, Yusuke Shono, which focuses on experimental scenes emerging on the Internet. His curatorial work greatly influenced me in my early twenties. In this project, I sought to integrate my own approaches to video production, including generative art, motion graphics, and unconventional uses of GPU rendering, within an atmosphere that reflects the sensibility of the Internet aesthetics.
