ノガミカツキが国内のメディアアート助成制度に対して
メディアアートなどの助成プログラム、審査員もアドバイザーも採択者もほとんど一緒だし、もうカタチだけの審査やん😂 X
ヨーロッパで良かったのは、アート系の助成は少なくてもいいから多くの人に行き渡るようにしてくれてたのが良かったな。日本はピラミッド式でエリート投資思考。そして権威になって誰も何も言えなくなる X

@zachlieberman: A funny thing about botto / @quasimondo is that he is one the artists I truly admire but blocked because early on when I was sketching he kept responding to my sketches with some example of something similar he had done in the past. I ask him politely to stop and he didn’t.. I felt like it was some weird energy to be told all the time “I did that first”. It’s funny that someone so concerned with authenticity and precedent makes this project that looks so derivative / like intro textbook material
botto / @quasimondo のことは本当に尊敬してるアーティストのひとりなのに、ぼくは彼をブロックしてるんだ。というのも、ぼくがスケッチを投稿し始めた初期の頃、彼が毎回のように「自分も昔こういうのやったよ」という感じで似た作例を返信してきて、丁寧にやめてほしいと言ってもやめてくれなかった。ずっと「それオレが先にやった」というエネルギーを浴びせられてるみたいで、なんか変な気分だった。皮肉なのは、本物性とか先例にこだわる彼が、今回こんな教科書の序章みたいに見える、やけに凡庸な見た目のプロジェクトを作ってることだ。
@zachlieberman: To be clear I love his work I just found it hard to have that energy around my sketching process which I want to be carefree and fun. Working openly in this way is hard (it’s like a diary so kind of private / public) and I find I need to block sometimes for my sanity.
誤解のないように言っておくと、彼の作品自体は今でも大好き。ただ、ぼくのスケッチプロセスは気楽で自由でいたいから、そのエネルギーをそばに置くのがつらかった。こういうオープンな制作は日記みたいに半分プライベートで半分パブリックだから、ときどきメンタルのためにブロックが必要になることがある。
@quasimondo: Ah well Zach, I did the annoying "been there done that" two times on your tweets and I believe I have stopped doing this in general since quite some time now. As I told you back then I saw these more like a "peer review".
I will not quote without your permission from our private correspondence that we had before you blocked me back in 2017, but in the light of your Botto tweet today, you might want to read it again. Quite interesting in that context.
いやあ、その、Zach、ぼくは君の投稿に「それやったことあるよ」的な返信を2回くらいやってしまったことがあって、もうずいぶん前にそういう振る舞いはやめたつもりなんだ。君がぼくをブロックした2017年の前に、ぼくらがやり取りしていたDMの内容を許可なく引用するつもりはないけど、今日のリプ合戦を踏まえて、あのやり取りをもう一度読み返してみるのも悪くないかもしれない。あの文脈で読むと、けっこう興味深いと思うよ。
